Pre-islamic age of ignorance: These believers believed that Allah (swt) would never send a human being as a Messenger. The Holy Qur’an informs us about these believers as follows: “Did it strike people as strange that We revealed to one among them, ‘Warn mankind and give the believers the good news that they have an unshakable honour with their Lord’, so that the disbelievers said, ‘This man is a clear sorcerer’?”[590]
ISLAM: Those who make a distinction between Allah and His messengers and say, “We believe in this, but not in that,” and thus want to take a path between faith and disbelief, they are disbelievers in the true sense of the word. We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating torment.[591]

Apart from Judaism and Christianity, a belief called “Deism” has emerged today. Deism comes from the Latin word “deus” and its Turkish equivalent is “Godism”. It emerged in the 16th century and criticised the teachings of the churches in the Age of Enlightenment and put forward a view of religion based solely on reason. It is a belief that denies revelation and prophethood but accepts a creator who is one in principle.

Allah (swt) says:

The only reason why people do not believe in the guidance of the right path when it comes to them is their understanding that: “Did Allah send a human being as a prophet?”[593]

Allah, who did not send a human being as an official but whose existence cannot be denied, emerged. Since circumcision is the liveable area of religion, its absence has brought Christians to this situation. Because every belief that does not have a habitable area has to give birth to different beliefs for a habitable area.

Muslims should know very well that a life without the Prophet leads to shirk. Today, great games are being played on us in this regard. Although religion is conditional on obedience to Allah and His Messenger, there are those who live a life without the Prophet by showing their loyalty to Allah, the One. They present this with actions carried out in a peaceful environment. This is a very big game that is wanted to be played on Muslims. First of all, it should be known that no other faith, except Islam, recognises Allah as one. There is only one way to avoid this game. That is to cling to the Sunnah. No one, at any time, in any way and with any power, can destroy a community that clings to the Sunnah. I am not talking about soulless actions such as backbiting while the miswak is in your mouth. I am talking about a life that will remind you of the Prophet when you look at it, because the sunnah is to create identity.
