Heedless human!
What deceives and misleads you against your Lord, the Most Gracious? Did He not create you out of nothing when you were nothing?
Allah (swt) says:
“Does not man remember that We created him out of nothing when he was nothing?”[703]
Did not Allah (swt) create you from a complex drop and make you hearing, seeing, hearing and intelligent?
Allah (swt) says:
Verily, such a period of time has come upon man that he was not worthy of remembrance. Indeed, We created man from a mixed seed (male and female juices) in order to test him, and We made him a hearer and a seer.”[704]
When you reached the time of responsibility, did He not make you strong when you were weak?
Allah (swt) says:
Allah is He Who creates you weak, then after weakness He gives you strength. Then after strength He brings you back to weakness and old age. He creates whom He wills. And He is all-knowing and all-powerful.[705]
Or are you not those who are in need of Allah? Who is it that feeds you and clothes you and sustains you and gives you sustenance, strength and wisdom? Do you not feel in need of Allah?
Allah (swt) says:
O people! You are in need of Allah. Allah is rich and worthy of all praise.[706]
Or do you not realise your helplessness? If you and those you have appointed to power were to get together, what could you really achieve? For example, could they bring back something that was taken from you?
Allah (swt) says:
O people! An example is given to you, so listen to it well: If those whom you worship besides Allah were to come together, they would not be able to create even a fly. If a fly snatches something from them, they cannot save it. Both the one who asks and the one who is asked are incapable.[707]
What do you have from your own work, O man, when you cannot even save what the fly takes? What pride, what ingratitude! You follow your ego day and night without stopping. Is this what makes you an honourable creature? Know that Allah (swt) alone has the power, wisdom and knows everything. Determine well who and what you serve in your life… When you are alone, think well about what you do alone… Faith and obedience take your burden in the world. For those who do not do these things, world life remains a heavy burden. Whoever and whatever you serve other than Allah, know this; you cannot be good to the one who serves. Your life overflows with pain, you cannot bear it…
Allaah says:
Allah wants to lighten (the heavy obligations) from you. For man was created weak in patience and endurance.[708]
You see that what has been done is recorded one by one, but those who have done it do not stay here in time, but go to account. Everyone who stays should know that they will surely be held to account for their blessings. If you live like a Muslim, you will only benefit yourself. If you disbelieve, you will only harm yourself. Verily, Allah is independent of His servants. The rebellion of those who rebel cannot harm Him. Nor does the obedience of those who obey benefit Him. He can be rebelled against only with His knowledge and obeyed only with His permission. Allah (swt) says in the language of our Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.): O My servants, I have forbidden wrongdoing to my soul and I have forbidden it among you, so do not wrong one another. O My servants! All of you have gone astray from the right path except those whom I have given guidance. So seek guidance from Me and I will guide you. O My servants, you are all hungry except those whom I have fed. So ask Me for food and I will give you food! O My servants, you are all naked except those whom I clothe, so ask Me for clothing and I will clothe you. O My servants! You commit mistakes day and night. And I forgive all sins. So seek forgiveness from Me and I will forgive you. O My servants, you cannot reach the position of harming Me, that you may harm Me, and you cannot reach the position of benefiting Me, that you may benefit Me. O My servants! If all of you, the earlier and the later, the human and the jinn, had the heart of the most pious of you, it would not have increased one iota in My property. O My servants! If your predecessors and your successors, those of you who are human and those of you who are jinn, had all of them been in the heart of the most guilty of you, it would not have diminished one iota of My property. O My servants! If the earlier and the later of you, the human beings and the jinn, were to gather on a plain and make a request to Me, and I were to give to every human being what he wants, it would not diminish what is in My Presence as much as the diminution of a needle in the sea when it is stuck in the sea. O My servants, these are your deeds, and I count them for you, and then I will repay you for them. So whoever of you meets with any good, praise Allah. And whoever finds anything other than good, let him blame no one but himself.”[709]
As a result, I would like to declare that I do not exonerate myself in any event that is told, transferred, criticised and interpreted. We are people with ego. I find it more appropriate to end the last word I will say on behalf of myself with the most beautiful of words:
“However, I do not want to justify (my own) ego and make it appear innocent, because all ego, except those whom my Lord protects with His mercy, persistently provoke people to evil. Verily, my Lord is forgiving, merciful.”[710]
